BIOGRAPHY
Inspired by Carlos Santana as a teenager, Al Bruggman founded The Sacred Fire Band in 2003 as a tribute to the iconic musician. Based in the San Francisco Bay Area, the nine-piece band features former members of Santana and other renowned Latin Rock groups. Known for their electrifying performances, they've earned acclaim as one of the top Santana tribute bands, even in a region saturated with Santana fans. Winning the Northern California Entertainers Music Award for "Best Latin Rock Band" in 2019, they've shared stages with legendary acts like Santana, War, and Los Lonely Boys. With the recent addition of bassist Myron Dove, known for his work with Santana, the band continues to captivate audiences with their passion for music. Embracing a diverse range of genres, from Old School and Funk to R&B and Salsa, The Sacred Fire Band guarantees an unforgettable experience for all who attend their performances.
